Cowling is an ideal stop over for walkers, being
only half a mile from the Pennine Way. But it is
much more than that. Nestled between Pendle
Country to the west and the Yorkshire Dales to
the east, you will be spoiled for choice when
deciding where to visit.

Would-be mountaineers can admire the scenery
from 1,827 feet up at the top of Pendle Hill!
You can also visit historic landmarks such as
Bolton Abbey, and Skipton Castle.

Literature fans may wish to visit Haworth and
the surrounding moorlands where the Brontė
